Workstream Ownership: Take full end-to-end responsibility for the most complex components of client engagements, from data collection to final recommendation
Advanced Analysis: Build and maintain sophisticated financial, economic, and operational models that serve as the foundation for client strategy
Strategic Synthesis: Analyze qualitative and quantitative research to identify "the why" behind the data, delivering actionable insights
Deliverable Creation: Lead the development of high-impact reports and board-level presentations, ensuring professional and logically sound output
Process Architect: Proactively identify gaps in Alpen’s analytical methodologies and develop new templates or tools to improve efficiency
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client leadership; present findings and represent the Alpen brand
Continuous Improvement: Integrate new tools (AI, advanced data viz) into the firm's repertoire
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, economic research, real estate development, or public finance
Proven track record of managing complex projects as an individual contributor
Expertise in building multi-variable financial models and 'storytelling with data.'
Four-year college degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
Preferred
Master's degree (MBA, MPA)
Proficiency in advanced data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, JobsEQ, IMPLAN, Foresight)
Previous experience in public-private partnerships or economic development
