Production Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)

Talent Bridge is seeking a Production Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 who is curious, motivated, and eager to gain hands-on experience in the aggregates and mining industry. This internship provides exposure to production processes, equipment management, data integrity, and plant operations while working closely with plant management and cross-functional teams.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Review and correct daily sales workflow and production entries to ensure data integrity
Validate Qlikview data in collaboration with plant management
Provide Key Performance Indicator (KPI) summaries for Operations and Finance teams
Develop presentations highlighting KPIs, trends, and leading causes of downtime
Assist with forecasting, cost tracking, and process improvement initiatives
Maintain and update mobile and fixed equipment lists across all sites
Support sites with facility design modifications to improve efficiency and productivity
Monitor preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance
Interpret drone survey data of mine stockpiles and provide accurate calculations
Participate in fieldwork to gain hands-on exposure to mining and aggregates operations

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Mining, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
Strong academic performance
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Energetic, team-oriented, and eager to tackle new challenges
Willingness to work in the field, including quarries, sand/gravel sites, surface mines, and construction sites
Possess, or willing to obtain, an FAA 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
