Responsibilities
Represent the credit union professionally, maintaining positive relationships with members and co-workers
Provide exceptional member service with attentiveness, adaptability, and efficient transaction processing
Handle teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, and more
Issue debit cards and assist with reports and general back-office work
Maintain and balance cash drawer throughout the day; buy/sell currency from the vault as needed
Perform branch opening and closing procedures
Answer member inquiries and phone calls; refer members to other departments for specialized support
Complete required BVS training and comply with all policies and regulations
Assist with ordering and organizing branch supplies
Support training of new tellers and collaborate with small team members
Maintain confidentiality of all member information
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies and regulations
Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn new systems
Preferred
Previous cash handling or customer facing roles preferred
