Immigration Litigation Paralegal (Bilingual: Spanish Required)
Zambrano Law is seeking an experienced Immigration Litigation Paralegal to join our growing legal team. This role involves assisting attorneys with immigration litigation cases and requires strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with immigration litigation cases, including removal defense, bond cases, motions, appeals, and federal litigation support
Draft and prepare legal filings such as motions, briefs, affidavits, exhibits, and court packets
Manage deadlines, hearing dates, and filing schedules for Immigration Court, BIA, and federal courts
Communicate with clients in English and Spanish regarding case updates, document requests, and next steps
File documents through EOIR portals, court systems, and other government platforms
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in the firm’s case management system
Review court notices, biometrics notices, and hearing schedules and ensure proper calendaring
Coordinate with legal assistants and attorneys to keep cases moving efficiently
Qualification
Required
Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) – REQUIRED
Prior experience as an immigration paralegal, preferably in litigation/removal defense
Strong knowledge of Immigration Court procedures, EOIR filings, and deadlines
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with BIA appeals, bond hearings, and motions practice
Familiarity with case management systems (e.g., Filevine, Cerénade, or similar)
Prior experience working directly with detained clients or their families
