Senior Engineering Manager – Data Centers (EPC)
Metric DCX is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for a newly established Data Center division within a Fortune 500 EPC in the United States. The role involves providing multidisciplinary engineering leadership throughout the project lifecycle for complex data center projects, ensuring alignment with client stakeholders on various operational and design aspects.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and engineering execution of complex, mission-critical data center projects
Provide multidisciplinary engineering leadership across the full project lifecycle - from conceptual and schematic design through construction documentation and construction support
Work closely with client stakeholders to align on capacity planning, redundancy strategies, site layout, constructability, and operational requirements for high-availability data center facilities
Qualification
Required
Accomplished Engineering / Design Manager
Experience leading the design and engineering execution of complex, mission-critical data center projects
Multidisciplinary engineering leadership across the full project lifecycle
Experience with conceptual and schematic design through construction documentation and construction support
Ability to work closely with client stakeholders to align on capacity planning, redundancy strategies, site layout, constructability, and operational requirements for high-availability data center facilities
Experience in a fast-paced EPC environment
Ability to build scalable execution models
Desire to play a foundational role in shaping a Global Fortune 500 EPC's U.S. data center division
