Responsibilities
Supervises production operations and maintenance for designated areas
Coordinates activities with departmental managers to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
Ensures assigned work area production and process controls are compliant to company expectations and that production personnel are working to GMP
Establishes and monitors work area performance for production and quality standards
Controls and manages labor, overtime, and repair expenses
Maintains existing plant facilities and equipment; replaces or adjusts plant facilities and equipment when necessary
Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs
Ensures shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel
Qualification
Required
BS degree or AA preferred
Prior experience in a production and/or warehouse environment required
Equivalent of 2+ years supervisory experience required
Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
Adhere and support KLS Martin's quality and safety policies and procedures
Ability to retrieve and interpret documentation
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally and externally
Problem solving & decision making /adaptability & flexibility
Strong leadership skills are required
