Senior LevelSpotlight is revolutionizing how people experience life outside their homes by unifying discovery, navigation, and interaction across various activities using advanced AI. As a Founding Engineer, you will be responsible for building the core operating experience for Spotlight's smart and AR glasses, developing Android AOSP and integrating hardware components.

Responsibilities
Developing and customizing Android AOSP to create Spotlight OS
Integrating hardware components such as camera, audio, sensors, and display
Replacing the traditional Android interface with Spotlight’s voice-first, spatial computing layer
Qualification
Required
Expertise in Android AOSP, custom ROM development, or Android firmware engineering
Strong understanding of embedded systems, BSPs, and hardware bring-up processes
Experience integrating camera, audio, display, and sensor HALs in Android-based devices
Solid problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to debug system-level issues
Familiarity with low-power optimisation and performance tuning for wearable devices
Experience working collaboratively within early-stage start-ups or product-driven engineering teams
Preferred
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field is advantageous
