Responsibilities
Define and iterate core loop(s): onboarding → first win → retention → long-term mastery
Design progression systems (meta, rewards, economy) that feel fair, motivating, and sticky
Build social mechanics that drive repeat play: group dynamics, challenges, gifting/trading, alliances, rivalry moments
Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and engineering to ship features end-to-end (not just decks)
Use data + playtests to tune pacing, difficulty, rewards, and time-to-fun
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7-10 years of industry game design experience
Proficiency in game design to create captivating and immersive user experiences
Strong skills in game development and experience with both desktop and mobile game platforms
In-depth knowledge of gameplay mechanics, balancing, and user-centric design principles
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Proven experience in a similar role within the gaming or product industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing past work
Figma proficiency
Preferred
Experience with social multiplayer, competitive systems, or community-driven play
Live ops/event design, battle pass-style progression, and economy balancing
Comfortable working in Figma + spreadsheets (and ideally some prototyping tools)
