The role involves producing accurate estimating inputs and supporting pricing decisions while working closely with Pre-construction Operations and company leadership.

Construction

Responsibilities

Produce complete, review-ready estimating inputs, including quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
Pricing support using Company estimating templates
Internal subcontractor quote leveling (scope, exclusions, gaps, risks)
Addendum impact identification and documentation
Scope coverage checklists and gap flags
Clean estimating hand-off packages for internal review
Perform takeoffs and populate estimate workbooks
Level subcontractor quotes internally
Document exclusions, missing scope, and risk flags
Capture addenda impacts
Escalate unclear documents, missing scope, or conflicts immediately

Required

Experience in commercial construction estimating and pricing
Ability to produce complete, review-ready estimating inputs
Proficiency in quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
Experience with pricing support using estimating templates
Ability to level internal subcontractor quotes (scope, exclusions, gaps, risks)
Experience in identifying and documenting addendum impacts
Ability to create scope coverage checklists and gap flags
Ability to produce clean estimating hand-off packages for internal review
Strong attention to accuracy, responsiveness, and scope discipline
Ability to manage multiple active bids simultaneously
Proficiency in using tools such as Houzz Pro, BuildingConnected, Bluebeam, and Excel-based estimating templates
Strong documentation and file discipline skills
