InternKorda/Nemeth Engineering, Inc. is seeking highly motivated Interns or Co-Ops for their engineering departments. The role involves assisting in design, analysis of building systems or site development projects, and preparation of drawings and specifications for construction.

Responsibilities
Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities
Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids
Assist in the development of solutions for technical problems
Work with an experienced engineer mentor
Assist in design, analyze building systems or site development/public works projects, and assist in preparation of drawings and specifications for bidding and construction by contractors
Interpret and apply local and national code requirements as part of the design for the safety of the public
Qualification
Required
Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural design emphasis and completion of introductory steel and concrete course work
Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or another Engineering degree with significant course work or work experience related to Electrical Engineering
Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with course work in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
Preferred
Willingness to learn new skills and to work towards continuous improvement
Ability to work on multiple projects in a collaborative environment
Excellent communication skills
Have work authorization for unlimited full-time employment after graduation
