Monitor and interpret political, scientific, and regulatory developments relevant to the company’s product category
Build and manage relationships with media outlets, influencers, and government communicators
Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent and effective messaging to external audiences
Proactively identify communication risks and opportunities tied to regulatory strategies
Develop strategic plans to mitigate reputational risk and enhance public trust

Track departmental performance and implement process enhancements

Qualification
Required
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in corporate communications, within industries involving highly regulated consumer products (e.g., healthcare, personal care, food and beverage, or medical devices)
Proven success in media relations across traditional and digital platforms
Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and public-facing communications in complex environments
Executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Skilled in navigating complex, high-stakes environments with discretion and strategic foresight
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and executive presentations
Ability to translate complex scientific and regulatory information into clear, compelling narratives
High integrity, authenticity, and ethical standards
