The Test Engineer will serve as the expert in mechanical/electrical engineering requirements for the testing department, ensuring that employees are adequately trained and that all testing equipment is calibrated.

Responsibilities

Capture manufacturability issues with the design, submit design change proposals, and implement the change into the product

BOM explosions, implosions, and station routings and use of system to see what we manufacture and what we buy

Demonstrates the ability to plan, assign, coordinate, and supervise work of testing and employees while documenting and writing comprehensive reports

Reporting routinely the progress of the testing according to the plan

Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures

Be able to support the needs of production staff

Read and understand schematics, blueprints and 3 Dimensional drawings

In excel, be able to import data, look up tables, create pivot tables, simple macros, etc

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
