Responsibilities
Perform full monthly reconciliations for seven (7) separate entities within Yardi Voyager
Ensure all entries are accurate, categorized correctly, and compliant with internal standards
Verify that minimal monthly expenses are properly recorded and matched
Utilize Yardi Voyager for all core reconciliation tasks
Work within Yardi Elevate where applicable for updated workflows and reporting tools
Monitor system updates or discrepancies and communicate issues as needed
Generate all required monthly financial reports after reconciliations are complete
Package financials in a clean, easy-to-read format for internal review
Provide basic commentary on variances or unusual activity, if applicable
Maintain organized documentation of reconciliation reviews and monthly financial activity
Communicate promptly with internal team on questions, missing items, or month-end updates
Ensure deadlines are met consistently for all seven entities each month
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of monthly close processes
Direct, hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager (non-negotiable)
Familiarity or working experience with Yardi Elevate
Demonstrated experience reconciling multiple entities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to meet consistent monthly deadlines
Preferred
Experience in real estate, property management, or multi-entity accounting environments
Comfortable working as an independent contractor with minimal supervision
