Lease Operator (I, II, III or Sr)
Williams is seeking a Lease Operator III responsible for the overall daily operation and maintenance of a specified group of oil and gas wells. The role involves demonstrating advanced operating skills and performing routine work assignments while contributing to team tasks and exercising independent judgment.

Responsibilities
Conducts production tests and perform routine repairs
Completes operational checks of assigned wells/equipment and identify and report changes in individual well performance
Performs minor maintenance of equipment
Gauges tanks and prepare for sale and manage fluid inventory on production facilities
Lights gas-fired vessels/emission control devices
Conducts environmental and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) audits to assess field operations, buildings, facilities, tools, and equipment
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED and minimum six (6) months of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
High School Diploma/GED and minimum two (2) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
High School Diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
High School Diploma/GED and minimum six (6) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
Use hand tools
Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as required
May be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays
Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record
Demonstrates proficiency and ability to adopt technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills and basic knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers
Preferred
Associates or two-year technical degree
