Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues

Install, configure, and support network equipment, such as firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi access points

Plan and perform network maintenance and system upgrades

Respond to network incidents and service outages

Develop project plans to improve network performance, stability, and security

Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to identify and address network concerns

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation

Stay up to date with networking and security best practices

Manage and configure Fortinet and Aruba equipment

Work with Azure Cloud networking, including vWAN, Hub, Firewall, NSG, and vNets

Provide technical support to users experiencing connectivity issues

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers

Understand and assess both technical and non-technical risks when making changes or developing new solutions to ensure robust and secure implementations

Monitor network performance and stability to ensure network availability

Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
