Talent Bridge is seeking a Dispatcher I responsible for ensuring on-time performance and order accuracy while managing fleet operations. The role involves promoting safety, providing customer service, and coordinating logistics to support company growth and compliance.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Promote a culture of zero accidents and incidents
Reinforce safe behaviors with customers, haulers, and weigh masters
Assist with annual Transportation Safety Initiatives
Conduct spot inspections and audits to ensure DOT compliance
Serve as first point of contact for customers regarding orders, pickups, deliveries, and complaints
Document and resolve customer and hauler issues
Enter accurate customer orders and proactively identify additional business opportunities
Communicate effectively with Sales, Operations, and contracted haulers
Coordinate with customers and haulers to optimize haul solutions
Dispatch trucks, track performance, monitor demand, utilization, and capacity
Identify optimization and backhaul opportunities
Maintain and update hauler directory; attract new haulers to meet fleet requirements
Forecast future haul needs and process related documentation
Identify substitute products and service opportunities across the site portfolio
Maintain frequent communication with plant and sales teams
Perform administrative functions including report creation, filing, and system updates
Perform scale house duties as needed; reliable transportation required for offsite work
Demonstrate a positive attitude and problem-solving approach
Promote safety, health, and environmental policies in all work areas

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
2-3 years in the transportation or logistics industry
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet applications
Must comply with all PPE and safety protocols, including respirator requirements if applicable
