Responsibilities
Lead & manage civil and structural engineering efforts for substation projects from concept through construction
Design and analyze steel and concrete structures, foundations, and supporting civil infrastructure
Perform engineering calculations, modeling, and simulations to support design decisions
Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Support stormwater management, site grading, and civil work associated with substation facilities
Evaluate and select materials, equipment, and construction methods
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the electric utility industry
Strong experience with Civil/Structural Engineering software such as STAAD, MathCAD, and LPILE
In-depth knowledge of steel and concrete design, foundations, and civil site work
