Responsibilities
Architect and build large-scale distributed systems enabling end-to-end AI-driven learning workflows (e.g., Content Creation Management [CCM], Personalized Learning Experience [PLE], and AI Learning Coach frameworks)
Lead design and delivery of production-grade services and APIs powering automation, content intelligence, multilingual translation, and workflow assistants across Amazon Operations
Implement and optimize AI integrations, leveraging AWS AI services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, Translate) and custom LLM pipelines for content generation, validation, and personalization
Mentor and guide engineers in best practices for system design, code quality, and operational excellence; raise the engineering bar across the team
Drive cross-functional alignment with TPMs, Scientists, and Product Leads to translate business strategy into scalable technical solutions that deliver measurable impact
Ensure reliability and observability, implementing automation, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines using CloudFormation, and CodePipeline
Contribute to long-term architecture vision, influencing build-vs-buy decisions, security posture, and cost optimization strategies for global learning platforms
Qualification
Required
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Preferred
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
