Amrize is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to join their manufacturing facility in Theodore, AL. The role involves operating industrial equipment, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring safety protocols are followed in the plant environment.

Responsibilities

Ability to operate various heavy equipment

Will be required to learn how to operate a gantry crane for unloading vessels carrying fuels and raw materials

Troubleshoot production issues and take appropriate corrective actions

Works rotating shift schedule; weekends and holidays as assigned

Other duties as assigned

High School Diploma/GED

Basic Computer skills

Must possess a valid driver's license

High degree of safety awareness

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests

Preferred

Associates/Technical Degree

2 years of manufacturing experience

A good understanding of the basics of the cement manufacturing process
