Benaiah Consulting Group is a modern, fast-growing CPA firm delivering tax strategy and advisory services to SMB entrepreneurs across the U.S. They are seeking a Senior Tax Manager who will lead tax engagements, manage the full tax lifecycle, and provide strategic insights to clients while coaching and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

Leading the execution of business and individual tax engagements, especially 1120S, 1065, and related 1040s
Managing the full tax lifecycle — strategy, compliance, planning, and advisory — with support from a hybrid team, including offshore preparers
Overseeing and evolving systems and workflows (Karbon + ProConnect)
Coaching and mentoring tax staff while holding the team accountable for performance and process
Providing clients with strategic insight to support growth, mitigate risk, and maximize outcomes
Building strong relationships across the accounting, finance, and wealth teams to deliver holistic planning solutions
Acting as the internal integrator and future tax leader, bridging the gap between vision and execution

Qualification

Required

CPA, EA or JD designation required
7+ years of recent public accounting experience, ideally with a mid to large-sized firm
Deep expertise in partnership and S-Corp taxation, along with complex structures and high-net-worth individuals
Prior experience managing a remote and overseas team
Proven leadership ability and a high standard of operational execution
Strong communication skills and an ability to lead with clarity, structure, and accountability

Preferred

Experience with Karbon and Intuit ProConnect is a plus
