Procurement Lead
Talent Bridge is seeking a Procurement Manager to implement procurement strategies in close cooperation with Category Managers across multiple sites. This role manages operational and tactical procurement, leads strategic sourcing initiatives, and drives savings and supply efficiency in alignment with regional and global strategies.

Responsibilities
Manage operational and tactical procurement of goods and services in accordance with category strategy, policies, procedures, and specifications
Oversee procurement for multiple sites (e.g., 2 plants, 2 regions, or a combination) with responsibilities for related projects, CAPEX, and terminals
Act as the point of contact between Category Management and operations; influence and drive change with peer groups including Plant Managers, VPs, and Operations Leads
Drive cost savings, supply efficiency, quality, and process improvements; identify opportunities and initiate projects at operational levels
Negotiate regional purchasing contracts and manage/develop Buyers or Warehouse Managers as needed
Ensure policies, procedures, and procurement compliance (BuyWays) are followed; act as lead for regional training
Initiate and support RFx processes with internal alignment; approve local purchase orders within authorized limits
Employ procurement tactics such as benchmarking, cost modeling, eSourcing tools, supplier discovery, and project management to reduce costs
Track KPIs and report locally generated savings; present results at operational and executive levels
Promote a culture of safety and adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
3–5 years of work experience, including at least 2 years in a procurement role (category management, sourcing, or operations)
Exposure to supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and procurement standards
Advanced proficiency in SAP
Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive change
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and local language
Effective time management, planning, and organization
Ability to handle ambiguity, conflicts, and adversarial relationships
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
Ability to interpret data, identify problems, make sound decisions, and implement solutions
Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE, including respirators where required
