NEOGOV is seeking an Entry Level ACH Coordinator for the State Auditor's Office in Kanawha County. The role involves managing operational tasks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing administrative support while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Must meet daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly deadlines to ensure operations run smoothly
Manage and input data into the various state applications for electronic payment requests
Mitigate fraudulent payments through established policies and procedures
Provides administrative support, which includes answering emails, phone inquiries, ordering supplies, incoming and outgoing mail, etc
Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner
Process state payment offsets and ensure compliance with the program requirements and report collections daily to the U. S. Department of the Treasury
Process and establish vendor payment offsets submitted by State Agencies
Collaborating with various stakeholders daily
Assist with division projects, system testing, and other duties as needed and assigned

Required

Must have analytical, technical, adaptability, and critical thinking skills

Must have a strong understanding of file formats and fundamental awareness of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
Must be a self-starter, dependable, and a fast learner
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions

Preferred

An associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in banking, finance, business administration, or related fields is preferred. 2+ years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
