Responsibilities

Build, calibrate, and validate factor models, risk models, and optimization frameworks for multi-asset portfolios
Conduct backtesting and scenario analysis to evaluate strategy robustness under varying market conditions
Develop scalable data pipelines for market, fundamental, and alternative datasets using Python/R and SQL
Apply machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, feature engineering) to enhance signal generation
Perform asset allocation research, factor sensitivity analysis, and systematic screening across global markets
Monitor portfolio exposures and risk metrics; design dashboards for real-time analytics
Create reusable libraries and APIs for quantitative workflows; ensure version control and reproducibility via Git
Partner with IT and vendors to integrate models into production systems and reporting platforms
Evaluate emerging modeling techniques (e.g., Bayesian methods, reinforcement learning) for practical application
Share insights through technical memos, code reviews, and internal seminars

Required

Experience in quantitative research or portfolio analytics in both industry and academia in data science, machine learning and computer vision
Hands‑on Python/R and SQL, and modern machine learning frameworks; familiarity with optimization, time‑series, factor/risk models
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computing
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Excels in international and multidisciplinary environments
Proficiency in English and good level of French (B2); additional languages are an asset
You hold a valid work permit in Switzerland
