Responsibilities
Lead all development operations, including fundraising, donor cultivation, and grant writing
Build and manage STEP’s development department and donor database
Develop and oversee fundraising initiatives and revenue growth strategies
Write and manage grants, including reporting and compliance requirements
Serve as lead staff to the Board Development Committee
Build strong relationships with donors, foundations, community partners, and Chambers of Commerce
Supervise marketing staff and support communications such as newsletters, social media, and annual reports
Partner with the CEO to set development goals, metrics, and strategy
Qualification
Required
Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor development
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to work independently and strategically in a mission-driven environment
Passion for advancing opportunity and inclusion for individuals with disabilities
