This role involves overseeing a small team of technicians, coordinating cleaning schedules, and ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of 2–3 Building Services Technicians, providing guidance, on-the-job training, and performance feedback
Develop and coordinate daily and weekly cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are covered efficiently
Monitor team performance, attendance, and adherence to safety and cleaning standards; escalate issues as needed
Maintain communication with plant operations to align cleaning activities with production schedules
Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, pressure washing, and sanitation in plant buildings
Clean break areas and restrooms, empty waste and recycling bins, and maintain cleanliness in high-traffic zones
Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely (e.g., vacuums, floor scrubbers, pressure washers)
Ensure proper use, storage, and inventory management of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment concerns
Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies across all work areas
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent, or 3–5 years of relevant industrial cleaning/facility experience
Strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and team leadership
Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 45 lbs
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including occasional overtime or weekends as required
Preferred
Associate degree or technical school experience preferred
Prior experience in industrial or facilities cleaning preferred
