Responsibilities
Own revenue recognition across all US projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency and strong commercial insight
Lead project accounting , including milestones, margin tracking, cost performance and cash profiling
Actively drive margin performance , identifying risks and opportunities as projects evolve
Partner closely with operations, sales and delivery to influence commercial outcomes, not just report them
Analyse contract performance over time, understanding variables, cost movement and margin risk across multi-year projects
Lead financial control, governance and US GAAP reporting across all US legal entities
Own monthly close, quarter end and year end processes
Take full responsibility for cashflow, working capital, treasury and banking relationships
Lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and long-range planning
Support bids, tenders and pricing decisions with robust financial and commercial insight
Play a key role in acquisitions , integration and investment cases as the group continues to grow
Work closely with the Group CFO on global reporting, board packs and PE requirements
Build, improve and scale systems, controls and reporting to support future growth
Lead, manage and develop a high-performing finance team of 5–6 people
Qualification
Required
CPA or equivalent qualified accountant
Strong experience in US GAAP and financial control
Background in project-driven, contract-based, engineering or delivery-led businesses
Deep understanding of revenue recognition, cost tracking and project margin dynamics
Commercially minded finance leader who enjoys being close to the business
Confident operator who can challenge, influence and support senior stakeholders
Someone who can move easily between detail and strategy
Proven experience leading and developing finance teams
Comfortable working office-based in Spartanburg, SC and being highly visible in the business
