Responsibilities
Perform month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Manage and maintain lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842, including right‑of‑use assets, lease liabilities, and related disclosures
Support accounting for multi‑location and/or multi‑entity operations, including intercompany transactions
Assist with accounting related to construction projects and/or dealership operations, such as job costing, work‑in‑progress (WIP), inventory, and fixed assets
Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules
Maintain accurate fixed asset and depreciation schedules
Support internal and external audits and provide requested documentation
Assist with process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, finance, and management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
2-5+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
Working knowledge of job costing, WIP, inventory, or fixed asset accounting
Experience with ERP systems and lease accounting software
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred
Prior experience in construction industry highly preferred
Exposure to multi‑location dealership groups or construction entities
Experience supporting audits or complex reconciliations
Familiarity with financial systems implementation or optimization
