Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive analyses of the organization's structure, processes, and systems. Assess the current business model and its integration with technology
Identify areas for improvement and optimization in the context of application migration
Design and document business processes that align with the new hosting environment. Create process maps and workflows to illustrate current and future states
Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders. Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for the migration team
Collaborate with stakeholders to define the desired future state of applications post-migration. Create detailed specifications for the future state, including process improvements and system enhancements
Gather and analyze data from various sources to support decision-making. Synthesize complex information into clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input from diverse stakeholders
Communicate analysis findings, recommendations, and project progress to all levels of the organization
Assess proposed technical solutions against business requirements
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for different migration approaches. Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on business processes and user experience
Develop UAT (User Acceptance Testing) plans and test cases based on business requirements
Document and communicate test results and necessary adjustments
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives)
Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog. Ensure user stories are well-defined and meet acceptance criteria
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
3-5 years of experience in business analysis, system analysis, or a related role
US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
Minimum of an active Secret Clearance
You must live local to St. Louis, MO (preferred) or be willing to travel to St. Louis every week Monday-Friday
Preferred
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent
SAFe Agile certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner)
ITIL certification or other relevant technical certifications
