Multi–Dwelling Project Manager

JD Audio & Video Design Inc is seeking a seasoned Heavy Commercial/Multi-Dwelling Project Manager to oversee complex low-voltage projects in commercial and multi-dwelling unit buildings. This senior-level role involves managing AV, IT, security, lighting, and shading integration for high-volume developments, ensuring successful project delivery from planning through closeout.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of AV, IT, and security integration in commercial and MDU projects
Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution for projects with 50–300+ units and amenity spaces
Coordinate with internal design, engineering, and installation teams to align on technical drawings, CAD revisions, and deliverables
Interface with general contractors, developers, and third-party trades to coordinate schedules, scope changes, and logistics
Maintain strict control over project budgets, timelines, and change orders
Direct site visits, kickoff meetings, field team scheduling, and material tracking
Oversee documentation, progress reports, and status updates for internal stakeholders and clients
Ensure smooth transitions to service, programming, and installation phases
Support accounting and finance teams with billing and project reconciliation
Enforce jobsite safety and quality control standards

Required

10+ years of project management experience in heavy commercial and multi-dwelling unit construction
Proven success managing low-voltage electrical systems in large-scale MDU projects (50–300+ units)
Strong technical knowledge of AV, IT infrastructure, access control, intercom, and network systems in high-density buildings
Experience managing amenity spaces (gyms, lobbies, rooftop lounges, conference areas)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)
Familiarity with building codes, permitting, and compliance for low-voltage systems
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Comfortable working on-site and interfacing directly with developers, clients, and trades
