Responsibilities
Enhancement and maintenance of existing enterprise NLP technologies and extension of those systems to new clinical domains and applications
Working on the augmentation of various clinical knowledge resources (lexicons, nomenclatures, hierarchies, ontologies and rule systems) underlying the core NLP and AI modules
Evaluating the performance of those components on clinical documents at scale in production environments
Generating and interpreting domain/solution analytics in collaboration with engineering
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in Computational Linguistics or Computer Science
7+ years of overall professional industry experience
7+ experience in Java or C#, Python, and SQL
5+ years of NLP development experience
3+ years of experience in a Cloud environment preferably AWS
1+ years of experience with Prompt Engineering
Proven solid understanding of Medical terminology & coding
Experience interfacing and presenting to senior management, clients, and clinicians
Preferred
Masters in Computational Linguistics or Computer Science
Familiarity with Docker, AWS or Azure, GitHub, CI/CD
Experience in working with voice to text technologies like MModal, Suki or Dax (Dragon)
Experience working with ontologies
