Information Technology Technician
Techexcellence provides IT managed services to small and mid-sized businesses, and they are seeking a Service Desk IT Technician to join their team. The role involves receiving and resolving IT-related issues for clients, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and significant travel requirements.
Responsibilities
Resolving service desk tickets
Communicating with clients (via phone, email, chat, and corporate SMS)
Maintaining service levels on assigned tickets
Strong focus on Microsoft 365 with Intune
Creating and updating company standard operating procedures for common tasks
Exceeding client service expectations
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Clean driving record
Career-oriented self-starter
Strong communication skills
Positive and professional demeanor
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Minimum 2 years experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
Understanding of basic principles of IT networking
Technical with knowledge of Microsoft products including: Microsoft Windows both desktop and server, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft 365, and basic Microsoft Active Directory knowledge (add and remove users and basic knowledge of Group Policy Object (GPO))
Preferred
Basic knowledge of computer and server hardware is helpful
ITIL Certification helpful but not required
Certifications such as A+, Net+, Security+, etc. helpful but not required
Experience with Microsoft 365 with Autopilot and Intune helpful but not required
