Responsibilities
Analyze production costs, monitor and control budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities
Work with plant managers and other operational leaders to develop financial plans, forecast production expenses, and assess the financial impact of manufacturing processes
Maintain quality standards
Ensure accurate financial reporting and support capital expenditure projects
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making
Align financial goals with operational objectives to enhance performance
On site support for inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash. In addition to preparing and participating during annual physical inventory
Provide support in gathering, analyzing, and consolidating the annual profit plan and strategic plan while serving as a liaison between the budget owners and finance
Support on site continuous improvement initiatives , participate in GEMBA walks, Rapid improvement events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field of study from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing finance operations experience
Experience in supporting finance operations to enhance productivity and efficiency for a business, group, or product line
Must be able to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders to ensure that financial insights are understood and acted upon by the operations team
Must be proficient in English and Spanish
Must be willing to relocate to El Paso TX. Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed
Employment Sponsorship will also be provided, if needed
Preferred
Masters or MBA
Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing finance operations experience, including partnering with leaders to achieve successful outcomes focused on strategic planning and business partnerships at the senior leadership level
Computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Power BI
Experience with ERP Systems (Oracle/SAP/ Encore / MAPICs) is a plus
