Quality Engineering and Program Manager
The Boeing Company is seeking a Quality Engineer and Program Manager to join their BDS Fabrication Quality Organization in Berkeley, MO. The successful candidate will lead the quality team, ensuring high quality standards and mentoring skilled professionals to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Lead teams engaged in quality engineering, quality inspection, and technical activities across all phases of the product lifecycle to ensure consistent quality and compliance
Develop and evaluate quality cost and price proposals, along with comprehensive business cases, to support informed decision-making and ensure alignment with BDS Fabrication Quality strategic objectives and business partner needs
Formulate and implement quality strategies and plans that support new business acquisition and the successful execution of program and business objectives
Provide education and coaching to promote understanding and effective execution of the Quality Management System (QMS)
Acquire and manage resources effectively, deliver quality technical management, and drive continuous performance improvements
Enhance the quality skills of team members and their practical application to maintain a robust Quality Operating System and foster personnel development
Build and sustain strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports to promote collaboration and alignment
Supervise the review of technical information to ensure product quality, manufacturability, and compliance with requirements
Manage, develop, and motivate employees to achieve high performance and professional growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a related discipline)
3+ years of experience with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System standard
3+ years of experience in quality/ manufacturing process and organizations, leading production system and/or process improvements (i.e. lean, Boeing production system, improve job practices, techniques, and standards)
3+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
3+ years of experience communicating and/or coaching operators, peers and leadership on various aspects of a quality system (associated with engineering, operations, or quality)
1+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)
Experience in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and precision measurement equipment
Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Preferred
3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer
Demonstrated skills in team building, systematic problem solving and ethical leadership
3+ years of experience communicating and/or coaching operators, peers and leadership on various aspects of a quality system (associated with engineering, operations, or quality)
3+ years of experience in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
1+ years of experience using precision measurement equipment
Experience with the One Boeing Production System (BPS)
