Sales Business Development Consultant - Outerwear - New York
Scale Up Search is seeking a BD Sales Agent to lead outerwear business development across the off-price and value retail landscape. This role is focused on building the category through leveraging existing relationships and driving new business in the outerwear sector.
Responsibilities
Drive new outerwear business across off-price and value retail accounts
Leverage existing buyer relationships to open doors and secure programs
Build seasonal outerwear assortments aligned to retailer price points
Partner with internal teams on fabrication, costing, and margin optimization
Expand category penetration and repeat business year-over-year
Manage account performance and identify growth opportunities mid-season
Establish scalable outerwear programs with consistent volume flow
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated success selling outerwear into off-price/value channels
Deep buyer relationships and an understanding of outerwear calendars
Strong commercial instincts around cost, margin, and delivery timelines
Ability to sell both technical and lifestyle outerwear programs
Self-directed, accountable, and commercially aggressive
Comfortable operating as an external agent with full ownership

Independent rep or consultant with existing relationships and the credibility to sell technical and lifestyle outerwear into high-volume retailers
