Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines
Automate build, test, deployment, rollback, and release validation workflows
Manage Salesforce sandboxes, scratch orgs, environments, and refresh schedules
Implement branching strategies and version control using Git
Manage Salesforce metadata, packages, and tenant isolation for multi-agency environments
Automate deployment approvals aligned with Salesforce CoE / Architecture Review Board
Coordinate release planning, sandbox refreshes, and data seeding
Create release readiness checklists, documentation, and training
Track and report release metrics (defect rates, deployment success/failure, deployment duration)
Integrate automated unit, integration, and regression testing into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with QA and Solution Architects to develop reusable testing frameworks
Implement monitoring, alerting, and compliance controls (e.g., Salesforce Shield)
Support Salesforce security configurations including SSO, encryption, and data isolation
Ensure performance, stability, and reliability of multi-tenant Salesforce environments
Work closely with Developers, Solution Architects, and QA teams
Mentor junior DevOps engineers during CoE scaling initiatives
Act as a technical leader for Salesforce DevOps best practices
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience on complex enterprise projects
7+ years of Salesforce DevOps experience
2+ years in a DevOps leadership role
Strong expertise in Salesforce CI/CD pipelines and enterprise release management
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce Metadata API, Change Sets, Scratch Orgs, and Unmanaged Packages
Hands-on experience with Git, YAML, and CI/CD pipeline scripting
Knowledge of Salesforce Security, Shield Encryption, and SSO configuration
