New Grad, Entry LevelStormont Vail Health is seeking a Service Technician in Nutritional Services to support the ongoing operation of the organization. The role involves preparing, servicing, delivering, and cleaning up food, as well as maintaining sanitation and managing cash transactions.

Responsibilities
Handles food throughout the cooking, serving, and cleaning process
Sanitizes and maintains work area and equipment. This may include washing dishes and pans. Ensuring proper temperatures are maintained while cooking and cleaning
Operates cash register and responsible for the cash flow from the customer
Documents processes and procedures as necessary. Performs inventory and ordering of supplies as necessary
Qualification
Required
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three- syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
Complies with all policies, standards, mandatory training and requirements of Stormont Vail Health
Performs other duties as assigned

Experience in a service industry
Experience working in a hospital
Experience handing money transactions
