Responsibilities
Maintain and repair mechanical systems throughout the plant
Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, and equipment servicing
Conduct inspections and assist with root cause failure analysis
Coordinate with contractors to ensure quality, safety, and productivity
Participate in technical and cross-training programs
Communicate regularly with process teams to resolve issues and share information
Recommend improvements to reduce costs and increase productivity
Participate in team meetings and support other plant functions as needed
Work rotating shifts and weekends as assigned
Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental standard
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED required
2–4 years of industrial experience as a millwright or maintenance technician
Valid driver's license required
Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
Ability to use required tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE), with reasonable accommodations provided where required by law
Preferred
Technical college education in a related field preferred
Experience with gearbox rebuilding, shaft alignment, and bearing installation preferred
Knowledge of cement plant operations or similar heavy industrial environments preferred
