0+ years expAmrize is seeking a Quality Technician to help ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers. This role involves collecting samples, performing tests, and supporting quality control for various materials while working rotating shifts.

Responsibilities
Collect samples and perform accurate quality control tests, reporting results to management and production staff
Examine laboratory and/or core samples to determine physical and chemical properties, using various instruments and calculations to ensure conformity with standards
Record, analyze, certify, and summarize test results; maintain records in databases
Assist with troubleshooting customer complaints and quality issues
Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced Tech QC staff and Inspectors
Train new employees on quality processes as needed
Communicate operational problems, deviations from standards, or policy violations
Demonstrate a commitment to safety and environmental policies, promoting a culture of safety
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
0–1 year in a laboratory or quality control role
Excellent math skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
Computer skills: Data entry, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
Adherence to Amrize-approved PPE protocols, including respirators when required (must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests)
Preferred
Associate's or Technical Degree
Chemistry or other science-related field
