Responsibilities
Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and assure compliance with the program
Review changes to laws and regulations and interpret their implications on the company, proposing necessary adjustments
Ensure all service reports, incident reports, and other internal and external documents are properly documented and filed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft, revise, and update procedures to align with applicable regulations and standards
Coordinate training of staff on compliance-related topics, policies, or procedures
Conduct regular audits to ensure the company is operating within established guidelines, prepare reports on the conduct and findings of the audits
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance role in an automotive-related company or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency in using computers for data entry, record keeping, and report generation
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to the automotive service industry
Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to influence all levels of the organization and articulate complex laws and guidelines in simple terms
