Business Development Manager
UAS International Trip Support is seeking a Business Development Manager to help grow their international trip support services. The BDM will focus on generating leads, driving revenue growth, and building a solid pipeline of business within the aviation sector.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the general and commercial aviation markets
Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand UAS’ reach
Ensure consistent revenue growth and meet/exceed annual sales targets set by the line manager
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive arena within the aviation sector
Negotiate and secure contracts, ensuring favourable contract terms for UAS
Develop and implement comprehensive account plans, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives
Ensure high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction by promptly addressing issues and maintaining regular contact
Collaborate with internal marketing and account teams to build a robust sales pipeline through cold calls, networking events, emails, and other lead generation activities
Maximize existing revenue streams and identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
Maintain and manage the sales pipeline through CRM tools, providing regular updates on potential deals and status
Engage with customers to understand their unique requirements and translate them into tailored service offerings and commercial proposals
Coordinate and manage customer communications and follow-up throughout the sales cycle, ensuring a smooth and successful sales process
Close sales deals efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction
Represent UAS as an evangelist in client meetings, industry panels, conferences, and air shows
Build brand awareness and promote UAS’ value proposition to key industry players and decision-makers
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with business objectives
Provide feedback to internal teams on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to influence product/service enhancements
Meet or exceed yearly revenue targets and other KPIs as assigned by the line manager
Proactively monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to ensure successful achievement of goals
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue generation, business development, or account management within aviation services, specifically in trip support
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field
Strong understanding of aviation services, market trends, and challenges
Familiarity with aviation operations and regulations
Willingness to travel as needed
Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with experience representing the company at industry events
Proven customer service and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs
Proven ability to generate leads, qualify prospects and close deals
Results-driven and ability to build long-term relationships and keep clients happy
