The role involves hands-on experience in construction and aggregates, with responsibilities including mix design optimization, quality control, and project site visits.

Responsibilities
Assist with operational procedures, production/maintenance activities, and product knowledge at various sites
Support the optimization of concrete mix designs for strength, durability, and workability
Assist in testing and inspecting concrete samples, including slump tests, compression tests, and air content measurements
Monitor concrete pouring operations alongside site supervisors, ensuring adherence to specifications, placement techniques, and curing practices
Help develop strategies to reduce waste and improve energy efficiency
Collect and analyze data to support process improvements and project strategies
Assist with implementing and monitoring safety procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
Apply engineering knowledge and teamwork to achieve operational and project goals
Present your learnings and contributions to leadership at the end of the internship
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field
Strong academic performance and solid understanding of engineering principles
Geographic flexibility to work at various sites
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High energy, proactive, and eager to tackle new challenges
Team-oriented and able to collaborate across different organizational levels
Willing to spend significant time in the field gaining hands-on experience
