Quality Control Manager / Superintendent

Talent Bridge is hiring for a civil construction firm specializing in federal heavy civil projects. The Quality Control Manager / Superintendent is responsible for implementing and managing project-specific Quality Control Programs to ensure compliance with federal standards and contract specifications.

Responsibilities

Implement and oversee project-specific Quality Control Programs in compliance with federal requirements (USACE/NAVFAC)
Conduct and document three-phase inspections (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up)
Manage submittals, daily reporting, and quality documentation for federal compliance
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and government representatives to resolve quality issues
Ensure work meets contract specifications, drawings, safety standards, and codes
Monitor and enforce EM385 and OSHA 30 safety standards on project sites
Lead quality meetings, coordinate testing, and verify corrective actions
Provide timely problem-solving support to field leadership

Required

High School diploma or GED required
Demonstrated experience in heavy civil construction quality control (experience should reflect required responsibilities, not age)
USACE Contractor Quality Control Management (CQCM) certification required
Knowledge of USACE/NAVFAC specifications and federal construction processes
OSHA 30 and EM385 certifications required
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation under strict deadlines
Must pass state and federal background checks to access federal facilities
Willingness to relocate to project sites for 6–18 month assignments
