SOS - PROJECT COORDINATOR

University of Michigan Health-Sparrow is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide a variety of administrative tasks for the Support Operations Services. The role involves managing complex projects, maintaining records, and supporting the director in various operational activities.

Hospital & Health Care

Responsibilities

Compile, monitor, and maintain information for managerial use
Maintain filing and report systems for outside governing agencies
Transcribe policies and procedures, reports, correspondence, and project summaries
Answer telephones, use of pager and radio communications, receive and dispatch information
Payroll for all SOS Caregivers
Maintain all SOS staff’s attendance and punctuality records
Assisting with developing SOS training materials
Financial tracking and accounts payable
Involved in contract negotiations and contract preparation for offsite commercial cleaning vendors
Liaison and quality metric tracking for offsite commercial cleaning vendors
Managing of EGLE(Medical waste certificates)
Manage the Support Operations Directors calendar
Coordinate the Support Operations Services meeting schedules
Moderator for the Caregiver Engagement Committee
Preparation of department Power Point presentations
Growth plan and evaluation tracking
QR code creation for surveys
Commercial cleaning vendor rounding report card management

Qualification

Required

A minimum of 3 years of experience in health care administrative support
High school diploma, GED or successful completion of 12 grades combined with continued enrollment in early college program
Proficient in personal computer operation and use
Proficient in standard business office practices and procedures
Excellent verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to proofread, compose, and produce a variety of technical documents and reports
Demonstrated keyboarding skills equivalent to 40 wpm
Must be able to work under pressure and without constant supervision
