Responsibilities

Experience in Software Testing

Expertise with one or more Hadoop technology(Hive, Impala, Spark, SQL)

Able to write Unix commands and execute them

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL, Database, ETL technologies

Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries using Joins

Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

Required

Lead the end to end testing activities across multiple teams in large projects with tight timelines

Experience in test case management tools like qtest, HP ALM, Octane etc

Experience working on different testing artifacts such as test strategy, test plans, test cases, test evidence, test approvals etc

Working knowledge of JIRA and other agile frameworks

Experience working with different databases and writing complex queries

Strong experience in working with upstream and downstream integrations

Defect tracking and management in JIRA

Strong organization and collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams

Generate various metrics and reports to communicate progress, status, risks and dependencies

Define and track success metrics for the QA deliverables

Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math)

Experience in Software Testing

Ability to be self-directed to complete assigned activities
