Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or potential threats within the logistics and distribution setting
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies
Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and site personnel to relay important information or incidents
Complete daily activity reports and other documentation accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and site protocols
Qualification
Required
Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree
Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
CPR certification is preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
