Responsibilities
Engineer Solutions: Design and implement robust backend services and RESTful APIs to support critical business applications across Legal, HR, and External & Legislative Affairs
Own the Lifecycle: Take full ownership of your features, from initial design through deployment. This includes writing unit tests, establishing CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring production performance
Solve Complex Data Problems: Architect efficient database schemas and secure data pipelines, making information both accessible and protected
Innovate & Learn: Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies—such as LLMs, agents, and the latest Azure features—to find faster and better ways to address business challenges
Collaborate: Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate their needs into effective technical solutions, ensuring that requirements address the real problem
Qualification
Required
Office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week

3+ years Coding Proficiency: Deep expertise in at least one major programming language (Python, C#/.NET, or Java)
Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, algorithms, and system design
Solid experience with relational databases (SQL)
Understanding of when NoSQL is appropriate
Practical experience building applications in a cloud environment (Azure preferred, but AWS or GCP experience is applicable)
Proven track record of quickly learning new languages, frameworks, or tools
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science
Preferred
Experience with the Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, SQL, DevOps)
Interest or background in GenAI/LLMs
Familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code
