Quality Control Manager

Talent Bridge is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee and implement project-specific Quality Control Programs on federal heavy civil construction projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with federal standards and specifications through inspections, testing, and documentation while coordinating with various stakeholders to resolve quality issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage project-specific Quality Control Programs in compliance with federal requirements
Conduct and document three-phase inspections (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up)
Manage submittals, daily reporting, and quality documentation for federal compliance
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and government representatives to resolve quality-related issues
Ensure all work complies with specifications, drawings, safety standards, and codes
Monitor and enforce EM385 and OSHA 30 safety standards on-site
Lead quality meetings, coordinate testing, and verify corrective actions
Provide timely problem-solving and support to field leadership

Required

High School diploma or GED
5+ years of heavy civil construction quality control experience
Valid USACE Contractor Quality Control Management (CQCM) certificate
Familiarity with USACE/NAVFAC specifications and federal construction processes
OSHA 30 and EM385 certifications
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation under strict deadlines
Ability to pass state and federal background checks for access to federal and military sites
Willingness to relocate to project sites for 6–18 month durations
