Responsibilities
Provide technical support during application, design, and installation phases
Coordinate engineering support with interfacing organizations
Lead the development and application of electrical Material Shipped Direct (MSD) equipment
Prepare, develop, and review Electrical Cabling and Interconnection deliverables
Partner with requisition management to improve processes
Lead discussions at customer meetings both domestically and globally
Drive requisition goals and objectives and champion cost savings projects
Interpret and implement contract requirements and stay current with global codes and standards
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
6-10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Experience in detailed engineering for Gas and Steam power plant projects
Proficiency in design work for electrical equipment such as Motor Control Center, Batteries & Compartments, and Transformers
Experience in Cable Sizing as per NEC and developing plant Single Line Diagrams
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Preferred
Experience in managing stakeholders from different departments
Understanding of international standards like NEC, ANSI, IEEE, IEC
Experience in reviewing customer specifications and preparing deviation lists
