Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical systems throughout the facility
Support preventative maintenance programs, including servicing and lubricating equipment
Assist with diagnosing and correcting equipment issues
Work with and provide oversight to contractor personnel as required
Participate in formal and on-the-job training to develop technical and non-technical skills
Participate in cross-training activities across maintenance functions
Work rotating shifts, weekends, and scheduled overtime as required by operations
Support other departments as needed to meet business and operational needs
Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures
Promote a strong culture of workplace safety
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
2–4 years of industrial maintenance experience
Demonstrated technical skills in areas such as:
Mechanical troubleshooting
Bearings, drives, lubrication systems
Equipment installation and repair
Welding, cutting, fabrication, rigging, and piping
Ability to use basic computer and systems tools
Preferred
Two years of technical college or trade school in a related field
4–5 years of industrial or chemical plant maintenance experience
Valid driver's license
