Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

Partner with direct and channel sales teams to support pipeline development and close new business
Act as a technical resource throughout the sales process, including discovery, solution alignment, and validation
Understand customer environments and requirements and map solutions to address business and technical needs
Deliver product and service demonstrations, both virtually and in person
Support RFP and proposal responses in collaboration with internal product, engineering, and services teams
Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned channel partners or regions
Provide feedback from prospects and customers to inform product and service improvements
Maintain strong technical proficiency through ongoing learning and training
Travel up to approximately 30% as required

Required

Strong technical background in cybersecurity technologies and services, including endpoint security, SIEM, SOAR, identity and access management, network security, and cloud security
Solid understanding of enterprise IT environments, including operating systems, identity platforms, virtualization, databases, networking, and certificates
Experience evaluating logging, monitoring, and threat detection strategies and their impact on security outcomes
Familiarity with cloud-based security platforms and modern security architectures
Proven experience delivering technical presentations or demonstrations that support closing new business
Ability to assess customer environments and develop scoped solution recommendations
Experience working with executive-level stakeholders as well as technical teams
Strong collaboration, communication, and consultative selling skills
All employees must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

Prior experience supporting enterprise or mid-market sales organizations
